Police nabs three suspected armed robbers in Osun

The Osun State Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers at Yakoyo community, Ife North Local Government Area of the state.

The command said it apprehended three members of the six-man gang of armed robbers that robbed at Yakoyo community on Friday.

Items such as phones, machetes and some deadly weapons were secured from them.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, briefed DAILY POST on Saturday.

She explained that the armed robbers were intercepted during the robbery operation which led to the arrest of three of them, but that the other three were still at large.

She said, “We arrested three armed robbers in Yakoyo, they are a group of six. Three among the group are still at large.”
