Pregnant woman rescued as building collapse in Lagos

A pregnant woman, on Tuesday, was rescued after a single-storey building collapsed at Ajaye-Alagbado area of Lagos State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the woman was rescued by the locals at about 4.45 p.m before the arrival of the Lagos State Fire Service.

The woman was immediately taken to Ile-Epo General Hospital in Oke Odo Local Council Development Area in Lagos.

Men of the fire service are presently at the scene of the incident.

As of the time of filing this report, the fire service had condoned off the rubble and are still searching for others trapped in the building.
